WHAT IS THE SCENAR?
INTRODUCTION
The RITMSCENAR professional is a pocket sized electronic device, developed and designed by OKB RITM Russia. It stimulates the body's own pharmacy with harmless electric impulses via the skin. The brain then mediates a bio-energy feedback by altering output every few milliseconds. The process initiates release of biological activators. Bio-feedback dynamics can induce rapid healing, allowing the body to heal itself.
The basic mode of operation is to deliver a "dosage" of electrical stimulation impulses to the body via an electrode in direct contact with the skin surface. These impulses have been tailored to mimic the electrical discharges of the nervous system. There are variable settings which stimulate both acute and chronic conditions and prevent the body from adapting to the signal before there has been time to generate sufficient neuropeptides (endophins, etc.) to relieve pain and facilitate homeostasis.
The power output can be set by the operator to a level that is comfortable for the client. It can also be adjusted during application should this be required. The maximum current output is 70 mA and the peak voltage is 180 V.
HISTORY
Almost 25 years ago Soviet top scientists were tasked to look for a way of maintaining the good health of their cosmonauts without the use of pharmaceutical drugs. Based upon studies of the Eastern therapy of "contact zonal massage", equipment was developed to tap magnetic effects from the skin and have these change the pressure of the massage. This biofeedback mechanism led to the creation of an electronic device whose output would depend on skin response.
Scenar devices were first released for production in Russia in the early 90s. In over 13 years of use they have been found to provide rapid pain relief, regulate and normalise body function and accelerate the resolution of pathological processes with diminished symptoms. A "side effect" of scenar treatment has been that addressing and treating one illness with the device automatically led to improvements of other symptoms.
A summary of positive results from Russian Scenar Therapists shows the SCENAR to be extremely effective: average ⅔ complete recovery, ⅓ improvement of condition (figures based upon groups of 150 to 400 patients including: muscular skeletal 79%, circulatory 82%, respiratory 84%, digestive 93%, urinary and male genital 89%, female disorders 78%, nervous 81%).
